他不打火教棒球四林國小棒球隊表現優

退休消防員李振榜在潮州四林國小擔任義務棒球教練超過10年，更在去年擊敗屏東市復興國小、內埔富田國小等傳統棒球名校，代表屏東縣出戰全國賽，獲得第八名。

從小就喜愛棒球的李振榜，曾是四林國小棒球隊投手，長大後念念不忘棒球的滋味，擔任消防隊工作時也參加慢壘隊，因此慢壘隊結識棒球教練陳保泉，開啟他從事教練之路。

陳保泉鼓勵他擔任教練，讓他心動，在94年退休後取得教練資格後，在四林國小擔任志工教練，沒想到一當教練就當了11年，去年更獲教育部頒發的體育推手銅質獎的表揚。由於四林國小就在他家附近，他想盡全力在該校服務，所以放棄光華國小的助理教練工作，四林國小擔任棒球教練，目前已被聘為體育代課老師。
