報導金鶯新聞網站Birds Watchers專欄作家法蘭茲(Mike Franz)認為，已拿下本季15勝的亞洲勝投王陳偉殷是今年金鶯年度MVP(Most Valuable Player，最有價值球員)。法蘭茲說：「陳偉殷貢獻全隊最高的15勝，WHIP(每局被上壘率)1.21是全隊最好，勝率排名全大聯盟第3，先發時能帶給球隊贏球信心。」
金鶯每年邀請主跑球隊新聞的記者票選MVP，每人可選擇3名球員，去年MVP是擊出53支全壘打的戴維斯(Chris Davis)。(記者王翊亘)
