表定明天先發的潘威倫，昨天進牛棚練投不到六十球，卻可以磨掉一小時，不禁笑說：「就邊投邊問啊！沒想到會這麼久。」

獅隊賽前進行打擊練習，潘威倫也在牛棚「上工」，幾乎每投一球都與投手教練費古洛、助理投手教練高建三交換意見，當隊友練打結束要回休息室更衣用餐，他還在投，「這次牛棚搞這麼久喔？超過一小時了耶！」他笑說，主要是微調動作、修正出手點，他跟費古洛各有看法，都滿意了才往下續投。

今年球季投得跌跌撞撞，他不覺得是身體出問題，源頭應是季前打經典賽，「那時的定位是中繼，我的想法很簡單，上去就一局，頂多兩局，盡可能抓出局數，球季開始，角色回到先發，必須設法吃局數，投球的手跟不上想法的轉變，結果愈投愈亂，最近已經找回一些感覺。」（記者徐正揚）
