紅襪灑大錢 古巴叛將抵達豆城

27歲的古巴叛將Rusney Castillo在美國時間23日抵達波士頓，據傳紅襪端出7年7250萬美元肥約成功搶人，現在就等Castillo通過體檢及其他相關程序。

Castillo身高5呎9吋(約175公分)、體重185磅(約84公斤)，去年12月從古巴叛逃，紅襪總教練John Farrell證實Castillo已經抵達波士頓。

7年7250萬美元合約將會創下業餘球員的新紀錄，但此份合約尚未正式生效，Farrell說：「他(Castillo)還需要通過一些測試，還有一些行政上的程序要進行。」

Farrell跟Castillo碰面相談甚歡，「早上我跟Castillo坐下來聊了一下，他很興奮能夠來到這裡，同時也很期待未來的日子，但現在他還有一些程序要走。」

先前Farrell沒有看過太多相關的球探報告，今天跟Castillo碰面之後，紅襪教頭想起了另外一名正在大聯盟拚戰的古巴球員。

Castillo身材並不高大，對此Farrell表示，「他是非常壯碩的運動員，有點像是道奇的外野手Yasiel Puig，他們的類型很相似。」
