印地安人對皇家之戰，台灣投手李振昌第八局登板，未解決兩名打者，反而失2分，印地安人最終以2：7落敗。

八局下，印地安人以2：4落後，李振昌上場中繼，先是被敲出內野安打，下一棒再敲出外野飛球，造成守備失誤，他被教練換下場，接替的投手鎮不住，皇家單局攻下3分，其中2分、1分責失記在李振昌的帳上。

李振昌9月重返大聯盟第三次上場，面對兩名打者用10球，最快球速94哩，3場投1.2局、失3分，其中兩分責失分，沒有勝敗紀錄，防禦率高達10.78。

皇家先發投手為華裔陳用彩投5局、被打4安打、失2分，拿下本季第8勝，他賽後表示，皇家為季後賽外卡爭奪戰力拚，「當我們落後並努力要追趕上來，每場都要贏。」
