日職棒師徒雙雄 獲國民榮譽獎

（法新社東京5日電） 日本首相安倍晉三今天在東京巨蛋球場（Tokyo Dome），將「國民榮譽獎」頒發給美國職棒大聯盟（MLB）前紐約洋基隊（New YorkYankees）明星松井秀喜和老牌職棒球星長（山鳥）茂雄。

77歲的長（山鳥）在日本備受尊敬，是日本人心目中的國民英雄，曾任日職讀賣巨人隊（Yomiuri Giants）球員及總監。

38歲的松井秀喜縱橫日本及美國球壇20載後，去年12月宣布退休。松井秀喜曾在長（山鳥）茂雄執掌兵符時效力巨人隊，開始他的職棒生涯。

國民榮譽獎首位得主是巨人打者、台灣旅日棒球明星王貞治，他於1977年揮出第756支全壘打，超越前世界紀錄保持人美國職棒大聯盟MLB巨星漢克阿倫（HankAaron）。（譯者：中央社劉文瑜）
