鈴木一朗在昨天馬林魚vs.金鶯之戰上場代打擊出安打，大聯盟生涯累計2876安，追平另一名名人堂球星歐特(Mel Ott)，並列大聯盟安打榜第41位。
一朗是在第8局上場，面對前一天在手臂上抹油被驅逐出場的金鶯左投馬突茲(Brian Matusz)，擊出穿越二游的滾地安打。一朗只要再敲一支安打，就可以追平90年代至21世紀印地安人明星游擊手的維茲凱爾(Omar Vizquel)，並列大聯盟第40位。
這場比賽金鶯菜鳥投手萊特(Mike Wright)先發7局3安打0失分，兩隊以0比0進入延長賽。13局下普拉多(Martin Prado)擊出再見安打，助馬林魚以1比0險勝。 (記者姚瑞宸)
