古巴強投費南德茲變成新美國人

來自古巴的馬林魚強投Jose Fernandez，在今天(25日)正式成為「新美國人」，他說：「這是我從小的夢想，能夠達成真的很不可思議。」

現年22歲的Fernandez在2008年抵達美國，2011年參加選秀於首輪第14順位被馬林魚選中，2013年獲得國聯新人王。

目前Fernandez正在進行手肘韌帶置換手術的復健，今天跟其他140人一起成為美國居民，「我現在是美國公民，這是我很重要的成就之一，我認為現在已經自由了。」

馬林魚的官方推特貼出Fernandez拿著美國國旗的照片，看得出來「新美國人」的心情不錯，Fernandez說：「這是我從小的夢想，能夠達成真的很不可思議。」

「今天的重點不是我能投出100英哩速球，或者是我的狀況良好，是現在我跟大家都一樣了。這裡的每個人也許都為這個決定(成為美國人)掙扎過，我很榮幸成為國家的一份子。」Fernandez表示。
