桑塔納用禁藥慘遭停賽80場

（法新社紐約3日電）明尼蘇達雙城投手桑塔納（Ervin Santana）今天遭禁賽80場，成為2天來第2個因強化體能藥物遭禁賽的美國職棒大聯盟MLB多明尼加球員。

桑塔納休季期間才剛與雙城簽下4年5400萬美元合約。大聯盟說，他的肌肉增強劑Stanozolol藥檢結果為陽性。

同樣來自多明尼加的亞特蘭大勇士投手維斯卡伊諾（Arodys Vizcaino），昨天也因使用Stanozolol遭罰80場禁賽。

桑塔納本季預定擔任雙城2號先發投手，維斯卡伊諾則是2013年百大潛力新秀之一。

桑塔納上季在勇士31次先發14勝10敗，防禦率3.95。

雙城在事先準備的新聞稿說：「我們很失望得知桑塔納因違反大聯盟聯合禁藥預防與治療計畫遭到禁賽。」「我們完全支持大聯盟政策及其消滅禁藥的行動。」

桑塔納已承認他犯過錯，不打算上訴。他暗示在多明尼加時期服用不明物質，導致這項結果。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
