Lester的激勵獎金 史上新高

小熊隊將與左投Jon Lester簽下6年1億5500萬美元的合約，而激勵獎金3000萬美元，創了大聯盟史上的新高紀錄。
過去激勵獎金最高紀錄是2006年藍鳥隊給 Vernon Wells的2550萬美元，Jon Lester與小熊隊的新合約，激勵獎金破了這個紀錄，成為史上新高。
31歲的Jon Lester生涯大部分時間都效力紅襪隊，曾幫助紅襪隊贏得2007年及2013年的世界大賽冠軍，今年7月底被交易到運動家隊之後，也幫助運動家隊打進季後賽。
本季Jon Lester的戰績是16勝11敗，防禦率2.46是生涯最好的紀錄，大聯盟生涯戰績116勝67敗、防禦率3.58。
