美國大聯盟14日公布年度MVP獲獎名單，23歲的外野手Mike Trout獲得全票支持，拿到美國聯盟的年度MVP。

Mike Trout是2012年美聯新人王，前2年在年度MVP的票選，Mike Trout都是排名第2，輸給老虎隊的Miguel Cabrera，今年他終於如願贏得這個最高榮譽的獎項。

Mike Trout本季111分打點，是美聯的打點王，36支全壘打，是生涯最佳成績，打擊率2成87，他是自1997年Ken Griffey Jr.之後，第一位獲全票支持拿到年度MVP的球員。.

由於Mike Trout攻守都有優異的表現，幫助天使隊以98勝64敗的成績在美聯西區封王，因此他獲得30張第1名選票的支持，老虎隊Victor Martinez及印地安人隊Michael Brantley分居第2、3名。
