預賽成績保留中華隊場場重要

第1屆21U世界盃棒球賽7日點燃戰火，預賽成績將會帶進複賽，中華隊總教練郭李建夫也有認知，「從預賽開始打起，每一戰都很重要。」

中華隊身處A組，同組的還有捷克、義大利、南韓、墨西哥跟紐西蘭，取分組前3名晉級6強複賽。

進入複賽之後會保留預賽成績，再跟B組的前3名進行單循環，6強複賽取總戰績前2名打冠軍戰，3、4名則打季軍戰。

按照賽程來看，中華隊預賽對決南韓之戰最為關鍵，因為南韓同樣有機會搶下分組前3，也就是說對戰成績會帶進複賽。

跟常見的4強交叉淘汰賽不同，中華隊總教練郭李建夫說：「也因為賽制如此，從預賽開始打起，每一戰都很重要。」

B組球隊有澳洲、日本、荷蘭、尼加拉瓜跟委內瑞拉。
