日職太平洋聯盟季後賽第2輪昨進行第6戰，聯盟冠軍軟銀鷹隊在福岡巨蛋主場以4比1擊退火腿鬥士隊，並以4勝3負過關，繼2011年後又打進「日本一」大賽。投手教練郭泰源也成了日職史上第1位打進總冠軍賽的台灣教練，火腿隊陽岱鋼則結束今年球季。

今年日職總冠軍賽將於25日在中央聯盟阪神虎隊的甲子園球場開打，今年央聯擁有4場主場。阪神原為央聯第2名，日前以4勝1負挑戰成功，淘汰今年央聯冠軍讀賣巨人隊。

昨役軟銀攻守俱佳，先發投手大鄰憲司7局好投，被敲6安、送出5K，無失分拿下勝投，居功厥偉。打擊方面則敲出8支安打，包括細川亨的陽春全壘打，火力也優於火腿。

陽岱鋼昨役4打數敲出1支二壘打、吞1K，季後賽9戰累計22K，40打數有6安打、包括2轟，打擊率1成50。賽後不禁落淚，似乎為比賽結果感到自責！火腿兩位引退老將稻葉篤紀、金子誠則向球迷鞠躬致意，結束20年日職生涯。
