中信兄弟拚下半季王座，屋漏偏逢連夜雨，10日延到11日在天母補賽，又遭大雨攪局，這一戰得再順延一天，預計12日原場地補賽，下午5點05分開打。

兄弟8日對義大犀牛之戰，延長賽10局3比4落敗，錯失封王良機，此役對獅隊之戰，兄弟只能贏不能輸，即使和局也無法封王。
