運動家Josh Donaldson面對費城人，在10局下轟出再見2分砲，率軍最終以8比6贏球，暫保美聯外卡領先的地位。

正規9局打完，雙方形成一場拉鋸戰，以6比6平手打進延長賽，運動家守護神Sean Doolittle續投第10局，面對3名人次僅投10球、讓對方三上三下。

10局下，費城人推Miguel Gonzalez後援，面對2名人次都被敲安，其中Donaldson逮中94英里速球，轟出2分砲，本季全壘打數來到28支。

「在關鍵時刻擊出再見安打，我一直都很想感受現在這種時刻。」Donaldson在賽後表示，這一戰他敲出球隊本季第3支再見轟，追平隊史記錄。
