上周從二軍上來支援的桃猿隊「精神領袖」陳金鋒，經過3場比賽3打數後，昨揮出2支安打，中斷連續13打數無安打，並在9局下跑回致勝分，大演「鋒炮劇場」、勇奪最佳男主角的單場MVP，終場猿隊以6比5逆轉中信兄弟隊！

中信兄弟打到9局上以5比1領先，9局下救援投手謝榮豪大暴走，投成滿壘後，遭猿隊代打群痛擊，蔡建偉2打點安打、陳金鋒打出單場第二安，接著郭永維揮出戲劇性安打，彭政閔將右外野回傳球暴傳二壘，這記再見失誤讓猿隊攻得贏球的2分。

陳金鋒一口氣從二壘奔回本壘，是猿隊逆轉關鍵分，讓中信兄弟在桃園球場吞下連11敗！中信兄弟上周不僅是猿隊上半季封王的好幫手、3連戰又被剃頭，成了猿隊戰績的大補丸。
