日本職棒前巨人球星元木大介，及知名搞笑藝人山崎弘也，昨現身新莊棒球場，是為在日本主持的棒球節目做採訪，重點是3月經典賽至今仍讓球迷津津樂道的台日大戰，採訪當時中華隊總教練謝長亨。

元木退休後轉行當藝人，山崎則是在台灣很受歡迎的日本綜藝節目《男女糾察隊》固定班底。草總一看到元木就說：「我知道他啊，以前我在獅隊當選手時，曾去巨人春訓，當時元木也是選手，他高中時期就很會打球，對他印象很深，現在還是很帥啊。」元木開心得當場對草總說：「我可以加入兄弟象嗎？」(圖╱李鴻明．文╱羅惠齡)
