【賴德剛╱綜合報導】我國旅美好手釀酒人隊王維中，前天對小熊飆出個人生涯最快球速96哩(約154.4公里)，由於他春訓平均球速約在91~93哩(約146~150公里)之間，因此釀酒人官網記者很好奇這數字是否正確，總教練羅尼克(Ron Roenicke)說：「我認為應該沒錯，我們測速槍很準。」

照洛許建議 輕鬆投

王維中是對小熊第8棒巴尼(Darwin Barney)的第4球飆出96哩，儘管王維中本人被問到此問題時開玩笑地說：「可能是風吹的吧。」但他也透過翻譯表示，自己是依照春訓時，洛許(Kyle Lohse)給的建議去投球，感覺很輕鬆，希望繼續保持這種方式。
羅尼克表示，如果王維中能保持這種速度投出好球，應要繼續保持下去，他說：「如果他不僅能投出好球，還能把球控制在邊邊角角，或許他就有機會成為1名好投手。」
