國民與布局投手克里帕德(Tyler Clippard，見圖)簽1年587.5萬美元(約1.8億台幣)合約，避免薪資仲裁。克里帕德連續3季出賽超過70場，去年年薪400萬美元，戰績6勝3敗33場中繼成功，防禦率2.41。國民去年在自由球員市場簽下終結者索瑞安諾(Rafael Soriano)，克里帕德今年仍擔任布局投手。(記者王覺一)
