A-Rod認輸了 今年禁賽

Alex Rodriguez的困獸之鬥落幕，撤回對大聯盟、球員工會的控訴，接受2014年禁賽。雖然A-Rod陣營沒有透露細節，但消息人士說，這決定的動機，還是出於「錢」。

根據ESPN，消息人士透露，A-Rod希望跟大聯盟重修舊好，以便將來退休後，能繼續在這產業賺錢，可能參與廣播節目、或是買下球隊股份。

「這關乎你要當Pete Rose、還是Ryan Braun。」消息人士的比喻相當貼切。Rose被大聯盟永久放逐，Braun則在認罪後等待復出。

這個禮拜A-Rod曾詢問大聯盟營運長Rob Manfred，如果放棄對大聯盟的控訴，雙方是否就此一笑泯恩仇？

記者找上Manfred探詢此事，他沒有回答，不過隨後大聯盟發表聲明：「我們已經獲知，Rodriguez決定結束一切法律行動，我們相信，Rodriguez的舉動，展示他有多麼希望能重回這美好的比賽。我們也有同樣的盼望。」

另一位「被告」：球員工會，也肯定A-Rod撤告。「Rodriguez撤告是個正確的決定，他做了符合每個人最佳利益的事。」工會聲明說。

A-Rod除了撤告之外，也收回另一項宣示，律師Joe Tacopina說，A-Rod不會參加洋基隊春訓。
