首屆21U世界杯棒球賽 明年在台中

國際棒球總會（IBAF）從今年起，世界杯棒球賽改採分級制，首屆21U（21歲以下）賽事，明年11月7到16日在台中開打，將有8到10隊參賽。

中華棒協秘書長林宗成表示，首屆21U世界杯選在明年11月進行，是為了避開各國職棒賽，屆時未滿21歲球員都可參賽；雖是U21賽事，但首屆比賽有特例，每場可有3名超過21歲，未滿23歲的選手同時上場。

另外，世界杯少棒賽已在台北市開打兩屆，IBAF也確定第3到5屆賽事（2015、17、19年）在台南進行；林宗成表示，2016、18年也將舉辦世界棒球訓練營。
