新終結者卡位 李振昌牛棚告急

【姚瑞宸╱綜合報導】大聯盟官網和ESPN體育網報導，旅美好手李振昌(見圖2)所屬的印地安人隊，與前釀酒人隊終結者艾斯佛德(John Axford)已達成加盟共識。艾斯佛德如果進駐印地安人牛棚，將增加李振昌明年開季後進入25人名單的難度。
印地安人隊今年先釋出表現不佳的終結者裴瑞茲(Chris Perez)，成為自由球員的布局投手史密斯(Joe Smith)也以3年1500萬美元(約4.4億台幣)投效天使隊。在印地安人小聯盟擔任教練的葉君璋指出，球團高層很看好李振昌，老將葉君璋表示，只要不受傷，明年開季有機會擠入大聯盟25人名單。
但印地安人總教練法蘭柯納(Terry Francona)傾向於讓陣中的艾倫(Cody Allen)、蕭(Bryan Shaw)擔任第8局投手。

釀酒人3季105救援

31歲的艾斯佛德曾於2010至2012年擔任釀酒人隊終結者，3季出賽199場取得15勝12敗105次救援成功，防禦率3.04，今年季中表現下滑被交易至紅雀，本季出賽75場投65局，戰績7勝7敗(7救援失敗)、防禦率4.02，季後未獲紅雀續約成為自由球員。
