準名人堂候選 3大教頭添傳奇

【王覺一╱綜合報導】大聯盟3大傳奇總教練托瑞、考克斯與拉魯沙獲得名人堂提名，將由名人堂資深委員會進行投票。另生涯超過300勝的賽揚名投梅達斯(Greg Maddux)與葛拉文(Tom Glavine)今年也首獲名人堂提名資格。

梅達斯葛拉文首獲提名

名人堂教練與球員的票選方式不同，教練是由資深委員會遴選16人投票，候選人必須獲得75%以上，也就是至少12票支持，才能進入名人堂。而球員必須在大聯盟打滿10年，且在退休滿5年後才能被提名，由北美棒球作家協會投票，門檻同樣是75%以上得票率。
拉魯沙、考克斯與托瑞在20世紀前後各自在紅雀、勇士與洋基建立王朝，3人總教練生涯勝場數在史上正好排在3至5名，也都拿過世界大賽冠軍與年度最佳總教練，進入名人堂應是眾望所歸。梅達斯與葛拉文生涯不曾扯上禁藥醜聞，並且達成生涯300勝，名人堂應也是虛位以待。

◆年齡：69歲(1944/10/04)
◆大聯盟總教練年資：33年
◆領軍球隊：白襪、運動家、紅雀
◆生涯戰績：2728勝2365敗
◆世界大賽冠軍：
運動家1次(1989)
紅雀2次(2006、2011)
◆年度最佳總教練：1983、1988、1992、2002
