紅雀鐵捕Molina 金手套獎6連霸

Yadier Molina已經成為「鐵捕」代名詞。大聯盟公布今年金手套獎名單，Molina堂堂六連霸！打入世界大賽的紅雀、紅襪兩隊，還有Adam Wainwright、紅襪Dustin Pedroia、Shane Victorino獲獎。
金鶯、皇家隊各有3人獲獎，是今年大贏家。「對我們球團來說，有3人贏得金手套獎，意義重大，」皇家隊總教練Ned Yost說，「那3位贏得金手套獎的球員，真的很努力練習守備，最令我印象深刻的是，他們的守備功夫，一定還會更上層樓。」
剛拿到代表「最佳進攻球員」漢克阿倫獎的Paul Goldschmidt，也獲選金手套獎，「太酷了，」Goldschmidt說，「聯盟裡有那麼多好手，獲獎是一項無上光榮。」
洛磯隊新秀三壘手Nolan Arenado冒出頭來，成為第10位拿下金手套獎的菜鳥，上一人是2001年水手隊鈴木一朗。
已經31年沒人戴上金手套的釀酒人隊，靠著中外野手Carlos Gomez拿獎，總算中止這個史上最長乾旱期。
今年金手套獎票選辦法改變，除了各隊教練團投票之外，統計數據也佔票選25%。
