世界棒球挑戰賽／2分不敵美國 中華隊第4

中華成棒隊22日下午在加拿大卑詩省喬治王子市（Prince George）舉行的「2013加拿大棒球挑戰賽」中，與美國隊爭奪季軍，不幸從領先而至終場以7比9落敗，名列第四，成績不若兩年前的亞軍。

不過全程參與的中華隊後援會僑胞毫不氣餒，除了在晚間舉辦烤肉會慰勞辛苦的球員，並相約2015年再見。

本屆加拿大挑戰賽共有五隊參賽，包括中華隊、加拿大、美國、日本及古巴，自8月13日至22日舉行。
