曼尼下半季續留小聯盟 無緣與殷仔較勁

16日才傳出，遊騎兵總裁會考慮讓曼尼(Manny Ramirez)升上大聯盟，但ESPN隔天就爆出最新消息，曼尼下半季仍將從小聯盟開始打球。

ESPN了解到，全明星賽3天假期結束後，曼尼仍會回到遊騎兵3A朗德羅克快車隊(Round Rock)，繼續打太平洋岸聯盟的賽程，會打多久沒有明確說明。

這消息也意味著，遊騎兵下半季開季對金鶯的系列賽，曼尼不會參賽，也沒有機會遇到陳偉殷，儘管外界都希望可以看到曼尼重回大聯盟，但遊騎兵總教練華盛頓(Ron Washington)透露，曼尼加入遊騎兵並不需要急。

「我們現在就繼續走下去，看會有什麼進一步的發展，曼尼累積越多打席，對他越有幫助。」華盛頓表示。曼尼在小聯盟8場比賽，累計3發全壘打，其中2發是在最近3場比賽中擊出，這3場比賽打擊成績為14支6，打擊率接近4成3。
