馬林魚隊鈴木一朗台北時間19日對響尾蛇隊之戰，敲出2支安打，大聯盟生涯2873支安打，追平世界全壘打王貝比魯斯（Babe Ruth）的紀錄，在大聯盟安打榜上並列第42名。此戰延長到第13局，響尾蛇才以3比2擊敗馬林魚。

鈴木一朗今天先發守中外野，打第八棒，3局下第一次上場就看準了響尾蛇隊先發投手Rubby De La Rosa的153公里速球，敲出安打，5局下則是瞄準了變速球擊出第2支安打，這也是他在大聯盟的第2873支安打，追平貝比魯斯的紀錄。

此戰也是馬林魚隊新任總教練Dan Jennings掌兵符之後的第1戰，賽前Dan Jennings穿著馬林魚隊球衣出現在球員休息區，過去Jennings一直擔任球團的行政工作，先前還是球團總經理，因此，一朗逗趣地將領帶繫在Jennings的脖子。

響尾蛇隊4局上突破馬林魚先發投手Dan Haren的防線，Ender Inciarte、Paul Goldschmidt、Yasmany Tomas連敲安打攻得2分，馬林魚隊7局下J.T. Realmuto轟出2分砲（本季第1轟），2比2追平。

延長賽13局上，響尾蛇隊Chris Owings、David Peralta連敲安打，打回致勝的1分，終場響尾蛇就以3比2擊敗馬林魚。
