馬林魚隊台北時間19日宣布，由球團總經理Dan Jennings接下總教練的職務。

馬林魚隊昨天0比6輸給勇士隊之後，球團突然宣布撤換總教練Mike Redmond，今天進一步宣布由球團總經理Dan Jennings接任，這個決定令許多人感到意外，連Jennings的媽媽聽到這個消息後都說「你瘋了嗎」？

因為Dan Jennings雖在職棒圈打滾了31年，但他不曾打過大聯盟，也沒有擔任總教練的經驗，因此臨危受命接下總教練這個重任，對他而言是一大考驗。

馬林魚隊目前戰績16勝22敗，在國家聯盟東區排名第四，與第一名的大都會隊有6場勝差。
