史坦頓開轟登隊史全壘打王

馬林魚隊強打史坦頓去年曾因觸身球導致臉部嚴重受傷，仍獲得球團一紙13年3.25億美元的破紀錄合約，背負著外界期待的壓力，他本季首轟終在昨出爐，也讓他以155轟登上隊史全壘打王寶座，但無助球隊取勝，馬林魚以5比7不敵大都會。

「之後我再享受這紀錄，現在我唯一知道的是（球隊戰績）3勝7敗。」史坦頓明白超高身價代表的意義，他的表現將直接與球隊戰績畫上等號。

此外，41歲的鈴木一朗本季在馬林魚隊延續大聯盟生涯，雖無法先發，但昨代打展現「寶刀未老」實力，第7局不但敲出3壘打，更趁隊友內野滾地球強行奔回本壘取分，只是無助球隊取勝。
