國王狀況良好水手喜迎開幕戰

水手27日以0比3敗給皇家。儘管水手先發「國王」赫南德茲(Felix Hernandez)苦吞春訓第2敗，但他賽後表示，狀況很好，已經準備好迎接開幕戰。

赫南德茲說：「我感覺很好，不只是腿，我整個身體的狀況都不錯。開幕戰我已經做好萬全的準備了。」

赫南德茲雖然對皇家吞敗，但投球內容相當優異，2局僅被敲出2支安打失1分，另外送出4次三振。

「我對今天的表現很滿意，」赫南德茲說，「我的變速球投得不錯，下降幅度很棒；伸卡球也OK；速球也很好，全部都有投出水準。」

水手總教練麥克倫登(Lloyd McClendon)：「他今天的表現相當出色。我們期望他能在春訓多投幾次，熟悉比賽。他做到了，而且做得很好。」

赫南德茲2010年拿下美聯賽揚獎，生涯至今10年都待在水手，125勝92敗防禦率3.07，1951次三振，連7年單季投球局數超過200局。今年春訓出賽3場，0勝2敗防禦率5.91，送出6次三振。

儘管春訓成績並不出色，麥克倫登認為這只是熱身賽，赫南德茲依舊是球隊王牌，將在4月6日面對天使的開幕戰擔任先發。水手目前開幕戰已8連勝。
