中華棒協秘書長林宗成今天談到與中職的關係說，「過去都過去了，現在要看向更遠的未來，棒協有信心，吳志揚的視野能使台灣棒球更上層樓」，他還用天氣比喻「太陽出來了」。

世界棒壘總會（WBSC）會長法卡利（Riccardo Fraccari）來台，促成中華職棒聯盟會長吳志揚、中華民國棒球協會秘書長林宗成首次公開見面行程。過去幾年，中職、棒協關係緊張，這次見面意義重大。
