溫萊特完封釀酒人 19勝追平柯蕭

溫萊特(Adam Wainwright)助紅雀以3：0完封釀酒人，豪取19勝，追上道奇王牌柯蕭(Clayton Kershaw)，並列國聯勝投王。

溫萊特展現壓制力，雖然被敲出安打但沒有失分，與釀酒人先發形成費爾斯(Mike Fiers)精彩的投手戰，而且他在六局下2人出局，擊出紅雀這場的第1支安打，毀掉對手無安打比賽的希望。

七局下，費爾斯投出第2次四壞，接著被亞當斯（Matt Adams）和佩雷塔（Jhonny Peralta）連敲2支，加上隊友守備失誤，失捍掉2分，吞下本季第3敗。

溫萊特則是完投9局用了102球、被擊出7安打，沒失分，7次三振，2次四壞，投出本季第3場、生涯第8場完封勝，拿到本季第19勝（9負），追平柯蕭並列國聯勝投王。

這場完封勝，讓紅雀在國聯中區封王的魔術數字減為M9，同時也拉大與第二名海盜隊2.5場勝差，與第3名的釀酒人有5場勝差。
