克魯茲26轟慶生 全壘打榜領先

【楊逸民╱綜合報導】金鶯重砲克魯茲(Nelson Cruz)昨開心過34歲生日，因為他在主場迎戰老東家遊騎兵擊出本季第26發全壘打，追平白襪阿布瑞尤(Jose Abreu)並列大聯盟全壘打王，同時率金鶯8比3贏球。克魯茲說：「用全壘打幫自己慶生又讓球隊贏球，超開心的。」

有望挑戰打點破百

克魯茲曾效力遊騎兵8個球季，但去年捲進禁藥風暴，不但被罰50場禁賽，季末也遭遊騎兵釋出。但金鶯今年還是給他機會，簽1年800萬美元(約2.4億台幣)合約，克魯茲沒讓球團失望，目前出賽82場已經26轟、67打點，與他生涯單季33轟只差7發，也有機會締造第1個百打點球季。
金鶯此役僅擊出8安打，但包括3發全壘打，先發投手麥法蘭(T.J. McFarland)在隊友火力掩護下，主投5局僅失2分，奪下本季首勝，也是生涯第1場先發勝。
