田中將大第11勝 居大聯盟之冠

日本強投田中將大(Masahiro Tanaka)17日主投6局飆出10次三振，幫助美國職棒大聯盟(MLB)紐約洋基，以3比1擊敗東區戰績排名第一的多倫多藍鳥。田中本季戰績來到11勝1敗，超越藍鳥左投柏利(Mark Buehrle)，暫居大聯盟勝投王。

這場比賽，田中在第一局就被藍鳥的雷耶斯(Jose Reyes)轟出1分全壘打，但此後就未曾再讓對方打者站上過3壘壘包。終場洋基就以3比1贏球。

田中此役投了104球，其中66球好球，出現3次四壞球(2保送1觸身)，防禦率降到1.99，高居美國聯盟(American League)第一。
