王建民擺脫前4場先發投不滿5局的低檔，昨日客場對壘他去年待過的藍鳥3A水牛城野牛隊，先發8局僅責失1分，率領紅人3A路易維爾蝙蝠隊2比1獲勝，締造本季在小聯盟3A最長投球局數、第1場優質先發，累積第2勝(3敗)。

建仔回復用球精簡、明快的本色，前7局很能壓制野牛隊打線，2至5局連4局讓對手3上3下，直到8局下被敲2支二壘安打，失掉這場比賽的唯一1分。

建仔與熟悉的前藍鳥隊友川崎宗則共對決3打席，3度讓川崎擊成內野滾地球出局。總計他投了95球，其中70好球，好球率達74%，僅被敲4安打、6次三振、0四壞，自責分率進步到4.67。

相對於前4場3A先發投球局數都不超過5局，特別是最近兩場分別是4.2、4.1局，建仔藉由此役要到很大的進展。

建仔在春訓被下放3A時強調：「雖沒辦法季初上大聯盟，但跟去年一樣，我還是會繼續努力，把握住上去的機會，好好表現。」建仔能否在3A持續好表現，關乎他重返大聯盟的契機。
