【鍾裕能╱綜合報導】前天洋基戰紅襪，皮內達(Michael Pineda)在脖子上抹松焦油遭驅逐出場，昨再被大聯盟禁賽10場，期間洋基不能遞補球員，只能以24人應戰。而原本第3號先發諾瓦(Ivan Nova)也確定動手肘韌帶置換手術，本季報鎖，洋基先發戰力更吃緊。
皮內達說：「我會接受，因為我犯了錯。」但他又解釋：「我只想塗在脖子上，就一點點，但我做錯了，且塗太多了，然後每個人都看到了，我很難過，也知道錯了。」

艾斯貝瑞 棒打老東家

昨天基襪3連戰最後一役，沙巴西亞(CC Sabathia)先發6局只被敲3安、失2分、飆8K，加上泰克塞拉(Mark Teixeira)敲出本季首轟，菜鳥索拉特(Yangervis Solarte) 2安、4得分，助洋基終場14比5大勝。沙巴西亞獲本季第3勝，追上田中將大。
洋基全場敲出14支安打，今年才從紅襪跳槽的開路先鋒艾斯貝瑞(Jacoby Ellsbury)6打數3安打、3打點，3連戰繳出5安打、5打點棒打老東家。
