古巴傳奇馬雷羅 102歲辭世

（法新社哈瓦那23日電） 古巴棒球傳奇人物馬雷羅（Conrado Marrero）今天在古巴首都哈瓦那辭世，無緣過2天後的103歲生日。馬雷羅曾在1950年代打過美國職棒大聯盟MLB，原是最年長的大聯盟退役球員。

官方新聞網站「古巴辯論」（Cubadebate）報導：「馬雷羅今天下午辭世，他是古巴棒球史上最佳投手之一。」

報導未透露馬雷羅死因。大聯盟曾說，102歲的馬雷羅是最年長的退役球員。

馬雷羅來自古巴中部維拉克拉拉省（Villa Clara），很晚才在古巴棒壇發展，之後1950年到1954年為華盛頓參議員隊（Washington Senators）效力。華盛頓參議員隊是大聯盟明尼蘇達雙城（Twins）前身。
