陳俊秀加入獨立聯盟 留美續拚棒球夢

26歲旅美棒球好手陳俊秀，17日確定與美國獨立聯盟American Association的威奇托蝶形螺帽隊（Wichita Wingnuts）簽約，繼續為旅美棒球夢奮鬥打拚。陳俊秀表示：「面對新的環境與挑戰，希望可以打出好成績，證明自己的身手 。」

陳俊秀是以先發一壘手加入威奇托蝶形螺帽，球隊方面期待陳俊秀展現中心打者的實力，而陳俊秀自從遭印地安人釋出後，便留在洛杉磯進行自主訓練，維持體能與打擊手感，預計27日將飛到當地熟悉環境，並於5月1日正式向球隊報到。

陳俊秀遭釋出後，有多支獨立聯盟隊伍、墨西哥聯盟、以及包括國內爆米花聯盟試圖網羅，對於未來的方向，陳俊秀持樂觀正面的態度，同時不排除任何的可能性，希望藉由季中的表現，獲得再次披上中華隊戰袍的機會，於9月仁川亞運為國效力。
