【謝岱穎╱高雄報導】名號「白蛇」的猿隊左投鄭承浩過去2年都投得不順，今年開季失分率更驚人，5月19日防禦率飆高到12，但猿隊8月27日起讓他嘗試擔任終結者，效率出奇地好，合計5場投7.1局被敲3安打，無失分，有3次三振，拿下1勝3救援成功。

績效過人 教頭嚇一跳

轉戰為終結者之後的鄭承浩投球判若兩人，投手教練莊勝雄和吳俊良都覺得不可思議，不只球速最快飆145公里，控球也進步超多，他說：「可能是救援上來，分數都有點緊張，精神必須很集中，之前先發時常常容易分心、想太多。」
不過鄭承浩對自己的球速有點驚訝，他說：「進職棒後最快好像是143公里，能丟到145公里我也嚇一跳。」總教練洪一中說：「鄭承浩當終結者是意外地合適，但還是要再持續觀察。」
