差1次追平凱撒紀錄

〔自由時報記者林三豐／高雄報導〕在獅隊「嘟嘟」潘威倫以109勝改寫聯盟生涯最多勝紀錄，「大餅」林岳平也只差1次救援成功，就能追平同隊前輩凱撒124次的聯盟紀錄，林岳平笑說：「關門壓力已經很大，所以不會有特別的感覺，頂多只是投球會更謹慎一些。」

有6年關門經驗的大餅指出，剛開始擔任守護神時，心情很亢奮，全場都看他如何為球隊守住勝利，但隨著失敗的經驗增加，壓力會愈來愈重，「酸甜苦辣、喜怒哀樂都在1局之中，這種壓力絕非外人能想像。」大餅苦笑說。

林岳平表示，「為何百勝、百中繼、百救援的紀錄都在獅隊，就是球隊肯栽培，願意給我們機會。」他認為，應該要更多本土投手一起來挑戰，「台灣其實不乏有實力的好手，就看球隊是否願意給機會，但能栽培一個好的守護神，短時間或許會賠上幾場比賽，但長期下來對球隊更有利。」
