【姚瑞宸╱台中報導】只差2個出局數，王溢正就成為Lamigo桃猿(含La new熊)隊史上，第2個初登板就投滿7局的本土新秀投手。初登板雖然嚥下敗投，王溢正仍繳出「優質先發」成績單。
Lamigo隊史唯一在初登板就投滿7局的本土投手，是蔡英峰在2003年3月8日對統一獅隊創下的紀錄，當時他投7局只被擊出4支安打失1分贏得勝投。許文雄、吳偲佑、張誌家在中職的第1次先發，分別只投5局、3.1局和2.2局，表現都不如王溢正。
王溢正昨晚中職處女秀，在現場6550名觀眾面前，投來毫無懼色，先發6.1局耗125球，最快球速144公里，被安打和奪三振都是7次，美中不足的是出現4次保送，第1至第3局都讓象隊的第1名打者攻佔壘包。
