巴爾的摩（Baltimore）抗議活動愈演愈烈，職棒大聯盟MLB巴爾的摩金鶯（Orioles）宣布取消今晚對戰芝加哥白襪（White Sox）的比賽。

金鶯隊台灣左投陳偉殷也在網路上報平安，「因為現在巴爾的摩發生很嚴重的衝突，所以暫停了今天的比賽。也很謝謝大家的關心，我現在也安全的回到家了！」

非裔青年葛瑞（Freddie Gray）被逮捕並羈押在巴爾的摩1週後，於4月19日死亡，死因是脊椎嚴重受創。這起事件引起激烈示威，已有數十人遭到逮捕，多名警察受傷。
