洋基隊王牌投手田中將大台北時間3日第一次擔任打擊練習的投手，這是田中將大第一次面對打者投球，他覺得一切都很順利，田中將大表示他的手肘已經沒有問題了。

田中將大去年球季因為手肘發炎，曾休養了2個半月的時間，因此新球季到來，他手肘的狀況一直受到大家的關注，田中將大說我明白大家都擔心我的手肘，所以我必須更謹慎，但是到現在為止，手肘的狀況一直都很好。

今天，田中將大面對5名打者，投了25球，也投了5至6個指叉球，他對自己的球路尾勁感到滿意。

熱身賽就要開打，不過田中將大本周還會擔任一次打擊練習投手或實戰比賽之後，洋基隊教練團才會讓他在熱身賽登板投球。
