旅美投手李振昌休息一天後，在印地安人出戰雙城的八局下登板，在7:3領先時，面對一人出局、一壘有人情況，雖然面對首位打者被敲出安打，但順利解決下一棒的鈴木清，只投了兩個人次就被教練團換下場。

李振昌先面對第5棒的普路夫(Trevor Plouffe)，用直球搶下好球，但在1好1壞後被敲出中外野軟弱安打，形成一、二壘有人。接著對上捕手鈴木清，李振昌用3顆速球，讓打者擊成二壘上空的飛球遭到接殺，取得這局第二個出局數後退場，球隊換上第四位牛棚投手(Marc Rzepczynski)，以三振結束這一局。

澤普辛斯基共接手1.1局，沒有讓任何打者站上壘包，飆出3K，守住球隊勝利，印地安人最後以7：3贏球。李振昌僅投0.1局，用了6球，其中4球是好球，被敲出一支安打，無失分，防禦率4.50，最快球速92英哩(約148公里)。
