下半季只剩8場比賽，上半季封王的Lamigo桃猿隊開始準備總冠軍賽，教練團最近不按輪值推出先發，就是要盡快找出最佳陣容，不過總教練洪一中表示，「投手怎麼排，要等對手出爐。」

泰霸、邁能及王溢正是目前猿隊輪值中固定的先發投手，教練團認為，他們在總冠軍賽亮相的機會很高，最近表現不錯的郭駿傑也是考慮人選之一。

猿隊下半季因王溢正、銳及許銘傑相繼受傷，郭駿傑出賽機會大增，本季出賽11場有6場先發，累積2勝2敗，防禦率2.96。

「洪總」認為，郭駿傑打職棒已經第5年，也不算新秀了，有經驗，最近表現也穩定，若能維持下去，就有機會投總冠軍賽。
