【謝岱穎╱綜合報導】美聯西區霸主割喉戰暫告一段落，天使王牌威佛(Jered Weaver)昨先發6局失3分，再靠隊友在4局上就打下運動家左投凱茲默(Scott Kazmir)，拿下第14勝，天使3連戰免於被清盤，戰績77勝52敗仍居大聯盟第1，運動家暫時落後1場，兩隊將於8月29日起移師天使主場進行4連戰。

凱茲默遭轟爆

凱茲默本季轉戰運動家，帶動球隊在戰績上一枝獨秀，但近期狀況略有下滑，在昨天之前，他在8月出賽4場已失掉13分，雖然不算很差，但比起先前一直維持在防禦率2.50以下的水準，似乎已有疲態，昨天果然就被轟爆。
凱茲默在2局先掉3分，3局被漢彌爾頓(Josh Hamilton)敲2分彈，4局沒解決任何一人就掉2分，昨天投3局失7分，防禦率從2.73飆漲到3.08，無緣拿下15勝。而天使的特勞特(Mike Trout)則在6局轟出陽春彈，只差1轟就可以補足30轟。
