MLB票選主席 曼佛瑞德當選

（路透巴爾的摩14日電）美國職棒大聯盟MLB球隊老闆和代表今天票選新任主席，營運長曼佛瑞德（RobManfred）當選。

長期任職大聯盟的曼佛瑞德將接替80歲的塞里格（Bud Selig）。塞里格擔任大聯盟主席22年後，明年1月退休。

根據知情人士，55歲的曼佛瑞德原本被視為接棒大熱門，但在30位球隊老闆和代表首輪投票中，曼佛瑞德差1票就達門檻23票。

經過4個多小時的角力，曼佛瑞德最後當選主席。中央社（翻譯）
