連40場後援飆K 查普曼破紀錄

【王翊亘╱綜合報導】紅人昨靠著8局下反攻3分，以6比5逆轉海盜，終結者古巴火球男查普曼(Aroldis Chapman)，9局上連投3次三振，奪下本季第20次救援成功，他也創下連續40場後援出賽都有奪三振的大聯盟新紀錄。
查普曼說：「我很榮幸創下這個紀錄，我昨天得知追平紀錄後，就牢牢記住這件事，很開心能打破紀錄，希望我能延續下去。」原紀錄是名人堂投手沙特(Bruce Sutter)，在1977年創下的連39場奪三振，過了37年後，才由查普曼打破。
查普曼昨面對梅瑟(Jordy Mercer)、馬丁尼茲(Michael Martinez)與哈吉(Matt Hague)，僅用14球，其中11個好球，最快球速高達103哩(約165.7公里)。
