【姚瑞宸╱綜合報導】紅人投手賽門(Alfredo Simon，見圖，法新社)投6.2局被擊出4安打、失1分，投打協力以4比1擊敗國聯中區戰墊底的小熊，取得個人5連勝，成為國聯本季第1個12勝投手，與洋基「神之子」田中將大並居大聯盟勝投王。
賽門於2012年球季投效紅人隊，前2季擔任中繼投手共出賽99場，今年因春訓時先發大將拉托斯(Mat Latos)受傷，在第5號先發爭奪戰逐退王建民等人，進入輪值。
賽門昨對小熊隊之戰，送出8次三振，只在第3局被瑞佐(Anthony Rizzo)敲陽春砲失1分，本季先發18場，取得12勝3敗，近8場先發拿下6連勝，成為紅人隊近6年來第1個在明星賽前就取得2位數勝投的選手。
