巴德重返大聯盟遙遙無期。取自網路

【謝岱穎╱綜合報導】28歲前紅襪布局投手巴德(Daniel Bard)本季在遊騎兵1A出賽4場，只投0.2局，沒被敲安打，卻投出9次四壞球和7次觸身球，失13分，防禦率高達175.5，遊騎兵終於受不了，昨天將他釋出。
巴德2006年選秀被紅襪在第1輪挑中，球速可達160公里，2009年起擔任紅襪布局投手，2010及2011年都出賽超過70場，中繼成功都超過30次，這3年防禦率僅2.88，平均9局三振多達9.7，三振╱四壞值也高達3.5。

調成先發 控球走樣

但2012年紅襪將他調成先發投手，巴德投球機制發生嚴重問題，三振率降低、挨打率偏高、四壞球大增，防禦率6.22，紅襪將他下放小聯盟仍未改善，今年被遊騎兵以小聯盟合約簽下。
巴德2013年年薪仍有186萬美元(約5580萬台幣)，但今年在1A連好球帶都投不進去，重返大聯盟遙遙無期。
